I actually do have PacBio HiFi contigs as well, but hybrid assembly efforts have only gotten me so far (tho much higher N50 than you mention, which is nice). Also not in position to continue sequencing :( I'm sorry if this is too speculative for this forum, I've just never seen anyone publicly entertain this notion. I think i agree that broader rearrangement patterns will likely hurt more than the process might help. | |
